Heusinkveld Law Firm, PLLC is a solo law firm, providing quality legal service with a very personal touch.  I strive to provide quality legal service through my knowledge as well as taking the additional time to make sure that the client fully understands their options, the situation, and that they feel comfortable with the decision they are making.

About Jennifer Heusinkveld:

Ms. Heusinkveld grew up in Eagan, Minnesota, graduated from Henry Sibley High School and attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Ms. Heusinkveld graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 1997, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Political Science. During college she joined Gamma Sigma Sigma, a service sorority. As a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma, Ms. Heusinkveld completed numerous hours of community service through out the La Crosse community.

After graduation from La Crosse, Ms. Heusinkveld attended law school at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. During law school, Ms. Heusinkveld was selected to be one of four members of the William Mitchell Mock Trial Team. The Mock Trail team competed in several trails in the regional competition in Chicago, Illinois.

During law school Ms. Heusinkveld worked as a law clerk at the law firm of Foster, Wentzell, Hedback, Arendt, Carlson & Brever, LLC. After graduation Ms. Heusinkveld was hired as an associate attorney. Ms. Heusinkveld worked as an associate attorney from 2001 through 2004.

In 2004, the law firm of Foster, Wentzell, Hedback, Arendt & Carlson, LLC dissolved. Heusinkveld Law Firm, PLLC was founded in 2005. Ms. Heusinkveld continued to work with the law firm of Hedback, Arendt & Carlson, PLLC, in an Of Counsel position, as well as for the clients of Heusinkveld Law Firm, PLLC. In late 2005, Ms. Heusinkveld was offered an in-house counsel position for a property developer in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

In late 2008, Ms. Heusinkveld decided that private practice was truly what she wanted to do and restarted actively practicing under Heusinkveld Law Firm, PLLC. Ms. Heusinkveld wanted to educate and service individuals in different aspects of the law. She speaks at seminars regarding Estate Planning as well as business formation to help educate others on how to properly run a business in order to continue to have a corporate shield in place.
